Naegele's Rule gives an estimate within ±2 weeks for most pregnancies. A first-trimester ultrasound is the most accurate way to confirm the due date.
What is Naegele's Rule?▾
EDD = First day of LMP + 280 days (40 weeks). This is the standard clinical method for estimating due date.
